RE: Can we have a separate forum page for soccer threads?
The hate is strong in this thread. Good.
It pleases me to know that all this hate is for nothing. The soccer thread, and baseball thread(s), are going nowhere. It's been brought up before and rejected.

We've had a soccer thread on this board since for 10 years. In those 10 years, thousands of posters have been able to exercise their free will and not click on it. I believe that these people can as well.
Of course, it is possible they are children that have yet to develop impulse control. If that is the case, perhaps we should talk to GTS about setting up a safe space to keep them from being triggered. Maybe we can give them a message board participation trophy too so they can feel good about themselves.

Exactly, the soccer fans have kept one single thread to discuss soccer. When that thread breaks, we start a new one and dump the old one. We can't control the soccer hater threads. Those are just entitled self centered children.

Yeah, I think the old thread had the highest post count of any thread in the entire NCAAbbs web suite...it's not leaving.

Of course the ECU fan wants to disregard the existence of basketball.

Probably filled with 98% trolling action. I'll have to admit, there's not a better troll-worthy topic than a faux sport like soccer. It's very popular with the kiddies at the YMCA.

The only trolling that's gone on in the soccer thread have been from WSU "fans", that one UCF fan and a Western Kentucky fan that thankfully got banned. I was guilty of trolling that WKU "fan", so I'm not exactly blameless on the trolling front. There may have been more but those are the only one's I've seen.

mods. can we create separate forums?
I think we can keep the real sports, basketball and football, together. Just get rid of the riff raff.
.
Poor little snowflake needs a safe space where he doesnt need to see the word soccer. It must be tough being triggered by so many little things.
Man up and just dont click on the threads. This isnt rocket science.
In our defense, some thread titles are misleading. They'll just mention "power rankings" or "recruiting". You click on it, thinking it's going to be sports related, and it's soccer/basketball/some combination of a bunch of hobbies that they mish-mashed together so Tulsa could win things...

I know I'm always confused when I see titles like "OT: Officially Official Soccer Thread is Official".
