NIU getting destroyed at that stadium has gotten old. Save your money or go to enjoy San Diego which is a fantastic city. I miss living there.

Here in San Diego. Was in DeKalb last year and happy to answer any logistical questions or assist with locations to visit or things to do.

Hoping for an improved Aztec team this year!

I asked the ticket office if I could buy tickets for the SDSU game. They said they don't have any information on SDSU yet, and to call back August 1

Most schools get their visitor allotments about the 3rd week of July. Perhaps the reason for the response...

Well, for being the one who started this thread, I got my plane tickets and will have 4 of us in total. Hopefully, it's not like the Vegas game and 100,000 degrees at game time. That game was brutally hot.

I can't wait for the games in Utah. Those are driving distance for us.

Good- lots of area to tailgate (mind you its on black asphalt and in some of the hottest times see 74* with 50% dew point of the year- I know, I lived in Chicago for 5 years= nothing for you guys!).

We tailgate in B-2 where most of the kids from the "Show" tailgate.

There is an Aztec Legends tailgate for a fee that has microbrews, rides for the kids and food. Let me reach out for information and I will report later.

SDSU Game Sept 30th: Tailgating
Is anyone local setting up a tail gating location to meet at. I have 2 friends joining us for this game. Neither are really football fans. They both went to Bradley U. :-) Anyway, I am not familiar with the layout of the parking area and was wondering how easy it will be to drive around the lot to find the Huskie flags.

Anyone local have a suggestion as to where to enter the parking lot and what area to meet at.

Looking forward to meeting some of you.

By the way, the NIU Volleyball team got beat badly by U of OR last weekend. I got to talk to an assistant coach before the match and it really sounds like they lost a lot of talent from last years NCAA qualifying team. Anyway, I met a few parents who made the trip and had a good time.

BTW, Wild fires suck! We have smoke all over the pacific NW due to forest fires.

I'd recommend checking back about a week before the game. Plans should start to firm up by then

Looking forward to the trip!

RE: SDSU Game Sept 30th
Just got off the phone with the ticket office, NIU has sold out of its allotment for this game. Seems to be a lot of interest! Tickets are still available through a deal with the alumni association:

https://oss.ticketmaster.com/aps/sdsu/EN/promotion/home

Enter promo code NIU.

Tickets are only $20 each + a $5 processing fee per order.

I ordered tickets online for around $60 for 4 tickets.(includes fees) I plan on moving to the NIU section once the game starts I think. It is a huge stadium.

I talked to a cousin in San Diego...since the Chargers are gone, SDSU is all they have now so they are getting more local attention!

RE: SDSU Game Sept 30th
Just arranged to attend the SDSU game this morning. Look forward to seeing some fellow Huskie fans and being stoked after we take Nebraska to the woodshed.04-cheers

Any advice on best way to get tickets? Ticketmaster? Also, where do they sit the visiting teams fans?

Thanks

I found pretty cheap seats at like the 50 yard line, 20 rows back or so. 20 bucks.
