Now that Jeffco has closed it's debt refinancing, does that help the stadium move forward?

I would think that will depend on how the Present JeffCo Commission views that stadium as a county blessing - or not.

Where does the design planning stand right now? Is the project "shovel ready" as soon as county funding can be provided by the Commissioners? To what extent does the project depend upon B'ham funding - perhaps at the expense /sacrifice of the hope for an MPF?

I still think we need to go with an on campus stadium. Now that we have facilities that are paid for, we should really begin with an on campus project. Or do we need to wait for a certain bank owner to stop breathing first?

Yes, the "MPF" and an open air stadium at the BJCC are mutually exclusive. It's kind of amazing that actually isn't clear

If they both need the same funding (principle of "opportunity cost") and perhaps the same land, they are not mutually exclusive. IF they do NOT both need the same funding or the same land, then they are.
