2. Marshall. Phil Steele seems to like this team, picked them second in the east, rated their LBs and DBs as best in CUSA, and rated the DL as second best. I'll take his word here.
3. WKU. New coach leaves questions, but with Mike White don't count them out.
4. MTSU. Good skill position players, defense will keep them from winning East.
5. La Tech. Rebuilding team.
6. UTSA. Could very well win the west, will improve but by how much?
7. Southern Miss.

I'm enjoying all the nonsense rankings based off of a fluke season full of injuries and off the field issues. I havet been this excited for a football season since Byron Leftwich was a senior.
