Thanks for this. Nice to have an ECU supporter willing to contribute something of value. Good luck this season (after Sep. 2nd of course). The better season ECU has (after Sep. 2nd of course), the better it looks for our Dukes (after Sep. 2nd of course). :>)

Yall are welcome, never want anyone coming to ECU to have a bad experience win or lose.

That is a great website. I'm heading to section 15 with 7 folks; however, I have one daughter that is JMU alumni (15) and one daughter that is a sophomore at ECU, so I'm not sure where my rooting interest are for this one. :)

Just hoping for an excellent game and nice (not too hot) weather.

Let's go DUKES/PIRATES 04-cheers

Well said.....I think it should be a great game and I really don't care who wins (since I have to be impartial), but it would be a huge win for JMU and not so much of a big deal for ECU. With that in mind, it would be nice to see the Dukes pull this one out.

Agree with you that this JMU's Super Bowl.

ECU needs a tune-up game before heading up to Morgantown, so if we have to play an FCS team, I'm glad it's at least a good one.

This is JMU'S tune-up game on the way to Frisco. Again, JMU winning won't even be viewed as an upset.

RE: ECU JMU "section"
Lol at this being our Super Bowl. Our Super Bowl, like in the NFL, is the championship game. Your Super Bowl is...well...you don't have a Super Bowl unless you make it to a no-name bowl, which would take a large turnaround from last year. Win or lose on Sept 2, it will have no impact on the rest of our season other than giving us the opportunity to go undefeated if we win. If we lose, we can still win out and remain in the top 2 and ride that all the way to the ship. If we win, it will just be noted as the start to a great season...for ECU it will be could be the death knell for your season. It's cute that you think a non-P5 team is that important to us, though.

RE: ECU JMU "section"
Anybody looking for tickets and want to join these board posters in the same section?- I've got 4 tickets that I no longer need. Here's the particulars: Section Lower Sideline 19, Row QQ, Seats 5,6,7,8

These guys and their groups are ALL in the same section and same 5 or 6 rows. JMUBarry and his group of 40, JMUSteeler, FormerJMUSprinter84, OlderDuke, CarolinaDuke, BigDuke, JMUNewbill, DirtyDukes, DeezNuts, BjMaddy12 and others.

Just looking to get my money back. I'll swallow the Stub Hub fee, so $35 per tix. Also gonna list them back on Stub Hub, but thought I'd wait a few days to see if anyone here can use them.

I can add one ticket for sale in Section Lower Sideline 19, Row QQ, Seat 9, if you need an additional consecutive seat (or not).

Like others have said, JMU tickets are terrible. Section 19 is the "young grad" section
Stadium map (click on for larger view):

Will be sitting between the 40s in 217. Got of Vivid for $25 (fees made it $33.57). Vivid has a great racket going on there (that's a 34% markup (I assume Stub Hub is similar)..Still beats the $40+ processing to sit near/in the endzone ordering through JMU.

Between the 40s up high is the best view IMHOP. Why the coaches & press sit up there and not down low. Course will be mostly ECU fans in that section. Anyone else 217?

I ended up getting 4 tix in section 14 through Stubhub. Fees were much less than BP paid but I think he did get a better deal on the ticket price of his seats. Looked like there were still good seats in the $28-$35 range.

As for shirt color we're probably going with purple. Unless there's a truly huge effort for JMU fans to go white it'll probably look like fewer JMU fans if only 20% are white shirts sprinkled among a sea of purple. The only real differentiator will be the streamers. 03-thumbsup

Though, I'm looking forward to my seats with the chairbacks and a bit closer to midfield, I wish I'd known you were still in search, I'd have gotten my seats with you. I attempted to get a couple from Dawg, but he had already sold them. Another bud I go to games with always wants to sit in the JMU section, but I'm dead set on not doing that for these FBS games. Wouldn't you know it, going against his usual thoughts he purchased his online as well and is in section 14.

Yeah, we were on the fence about going away for the weekend so it was a last minute decision. Getting the boys out of the house to give my wife a break. We're in row MM so anyone seeing unrolled streamers being thrown in that area it's most likely one of my sons, a couple of them still haven't mastered it.

That girl is fortunate that was a glancing blow, had it been square on the back of the head, she'd have gone down.
