probably...Cincinnati High School football conferences are tougher than CUSA v6.7 or whatever it is now.

If I recall, last year odds on favorite didn't get in. I don"t recall, was WMU even in the preseason lists, does anyone remember? I am not saying WKU is a shoe in. I just said a team everyone may be overlooking. 04-cheers

SDSU is the "monster" of the MWC WEST division where all the easy wins are. The Mountain division has all the good teams, Boise, Air Force, Wyoming, Colorado St and New Mexico were all the solid Bowl teams last year. So SDSU should easily win their side of the conference. I picked Colorado St to win the MWC iin my pre season conference champion picks. Although I noticed some had CSU 4th or 5th in the MWC-M, which is weird...I picked USF in the AAC. WKU in CUSA, NIU in the MAC and Troy in the Sun Belt.

Well, if you are right about your NIU pick, a 12-1 SDSU team with wins over NiU, Arizona State, Boise State, and Colorado State with a loss to Stanford in Week 3, looks pretty good for the Access Bowl.

Alas, I see 11-2 as more likely. We'll lose a random conference game somewhere (possibly @ Hawaii or against New Mexico)

NIU is probably about the 5th or 6th best team in the MAC this season and will likely be 1-3 after the OOC schedule.

I agree that UCF is still a year away from making a NY6 bowl.

This year, it'll either be the Peach or Fiesta. Same for next year. Because in 2019, it has to be the Cotton (since the Peach and Fiesta are semifinal games).

Yeah, that's the way it was last time the Rose and Sugar hosted the semifinals, in 2014-15. But I read somewhere that the Cotton would also be in the mix this time, so threw them in, just in case. But I think you are probably correct.

The guy who wrote th article put UCF at #2 because their OOC schedule is tougher. None of that crap matters if you aren't the conf champ.
