As most WKU fans have been saying all along, "we'll believe it when he dresses out for the first game". It appears we were right again.

Moving on... We appear to still have a great class coming in, if most of the rest stay.

Regardless, it's almost football season and I'm ready for some football.

Not intending to offend WKY fans, but I really didn't care if he played or not. It would be interesting for the conference, but Stansbury is such a slimeball that I would want to vomit if he had success.

Didn't some of the other kids come because of Robinson? Are those kids safe? How much of this is related to him firing his Godfather? Something really stinks with this situation.

What proof do you have for Stansbury to justify slimeball?, lets hear it....

Anderson is only one still questions remain if he will be on team or not....His "godfather" is the one working against us after Stansbury let him go and more than likely even before he was fired, he sees a cash cow and has been in his ear is what I am hearing to MR's moms regrets....Don't expect to see "godfather" coaching in college anytime soon...

I don't think his committing to WKU says anything about the quality of CUSA hoops. Do you really think he committed there for the high level of basketball play across the conference? No, he went there due to some shady deal and decided the deal was no longer worth it or it fell apart (family member getting fired). No surprise here.

The Godfather was trying to get him to a bigger school (possibly his alma mater) and him tagging along.

I can't seem to find anything about a young 25 year old Stansbury having convictions for cheating at Austin Peay 30 years ago. Is this an example of the Fake News I keep hearing about?

lets be realistic...hes been suspended for cheating. hes been suspected of it at every stop. he pulled a 5 star recruit Western Kentucky.....do you honesty believe hes clean?

The internal investigation was about a reported "illegal contact during a dead period". The Head Coach was released as well as the assistants. Stansbury was a young 25-30 year old during his 6 years at APSU as Asst Coach and he was never found guilty of NCAA infractions. No "convictions". LOL

A good WKU hoops team is good for the league, I hope Stans runs a clean and resurgent Hilltopper program, only time will tell.

Why was he suspended by the school?

Having a clean, successful program would certainly be good. Anyone believe in their heart that Stansbury is clean?

I have no idea. And since you came up short on the supporting evidence for Stansbury ever having been "convicted" of anything, my guess is that you also have no idea beyond your own personally held opinion.

Opinions are fine, and are what this forum is all about. But when those opinions go to personal reputations, they probably ought to be a bit more carefully considered.

I, for one, hope that Stansbury is clean. And I hope that he delivers a good, competitive mbb program to our conference. We sure need it.
