I think we beat the Spurs in the WCF with Rudy

We were down 0-2 to the Clips before coming back and going to the WCF. With Rudy, we don't make it past the 1st round.

With Rudy we aren't down 0-2. With Rudy (and Mo and Wayne) we win 60 games.

We were 1-1 the year prior against the Clips with homecourt advantage w/ Rudy
No reason to think we wouldn't be down 0-2 without homecourt advantage w/ Rudy. IMO that series would have ended with the Grizz ousted if we had Gay.

IMO, we would have never won the Spurs series either in 2011 if Rudy wasn't hurt. ZBo wouldn't have been the beast he was with Rudy potentially taking away quite a bit of ZBo's shots.
Anyways, Grizz w/out Rudy won PO series
Raptors w/out Rudy started making the POs

Some folks IMO think too highly of a flawed player in Gay in spite of the results of the past 7 years across multiple franchises.

We blew a 27 point 4th lead in one of those losses. We won game 6 at Staples. Your logic is faulty.

Since I didn't comment on the actual topic... in 2009 I wanted the Grizz to draft Rene one way or another. I actually emailed Chris Wallace suggesting the Grizz trade Rudy Gay to D.C. For their draft pick if the Grizz were adamant about wasting the number 2 on Thabeet.

I was wrong. They were more wrong.

I hope Tyreke finds it here. Him and Parsons. The fanbase is going to be ready to sacrifice the cubs if we gave up ZBo, TA, and VC for Parsons and Reke.

Logic is simple
The results agree

We had home court and couldn't seal the deal. We went 1-1 in the first 2 games at home with Rudy.

On the road, I'm not sure why anyone thinks we would be anything other than 0-2 with Rudy. And once down 0-2, IMO we wouldn't come back with Rudy on the team.

Either way...this debate about Rudy is pointless. Two franchises have had PO success or have made the POs once Rudy left those organizations. The results are there for everyone to see except a few remaining Rudy fans.

I don't get what was so great about Rudy. When he is 50 people will probably still say what great potential he has. You compare him vs Zbo and it's not close.
