Now we know RC Johnson was a fraud when he kept stating year after year that our season tickets are 20,000!!! We were no where close to that back then....

That USF attendance figure is the biggest lie ever told. Florida State was probably their only game above 10k actual attendance.

These numbers are from '15/16 with Ole Miss and Navy on the home schedule. Over 14.6k season tickets were sold that season. '16/17 saw almost 18k and '17/18 should eclipse 20k with price increases. I think the $ will increase regardless of 40k average.

If we beat both UCF and UCLA we will get our 40,000 easily. UCLA will draw 55,000 and if we win the 2 games mentioned, we will get 55,000 versus Navy when we are 6-0.

If that chain of events occurs, we will need to draw 34,000 per game in the other 5 games, in order to hit 40,000 average for the season.

We'll have mid-40's for ULM.

Home opener has been very good for us, turnout-wise, since Fuente's FIRST year, despite playing weak, mostly FCS opponents..

If we're in the hunt for a New Years Bowl, I think we'll get close. The UCLA game will be a big one for attendance, and will heavily affect attendance in games following it.

I think we are a fair bet to get 45,000 for the opener. We drew 42,876 for SEMO last year and 41,730 for Missouri State the year before. Also, when we were undefeated we drew 55,212 for Navy in 2015. The same will happen if we are undefeated when we play them this season.

Last year we exorcised the Houston demons. The year before it was Ole Piss. This year it's Navy's turn.

I'm gonna go with 35K for the opener. Being on TH instead of Sat is going to hurt. I doubt I will be able to miss 2 days of work to come into town for that game. Hate it, though.

Yep, a Thurs opener just doesn't work well for a good attendance....

Since the opener is on a Thursday night... let's keep our fingers crossed and hope we will have 40,000!

I bought my 4 tickets.........I would be more than impressed with 40K for a Thursday opener against a weak opponent.

Typically, I cannot make weekday games (I work and live in Nashville), but I will ensure my season tickets are used by Tiger fans.
