Another one where Woodside gets no where near the respect he deserves.

An aside on Woodside, he was just named MVP of the 2017 Manning Passing Camp, where he was a 'counselor'. Now, I have no idea what it means to be MVP of the counselors, but take a look at the list of other college QBs that were at the camp:

Jackson, Allen, Browning, Darnold, Hurts, etc. etc. were all there. Woodside was named MVP.

Maybe he did a really good job communicating with the campers. And all the others were too into themselves.

Did any of us really expect Woodside to be this good? I honestly thought he may be about at an Austin Dantin level. Last year at this time he was not even mentioned as an elite MAC QB. Many of us were upset that Ely was not given a sixth year of eligibility. The credit has to go to Logan himself. He believed in his ability and he worked hard to achieve his success. Thankfully the coaching staff was smart enough to get him a redshirt year. If he stays healthy and gets some solid blocking, he may once again rewrite the record book.

If he was on NIU Carey would have moved him to WR.
