I just don't buy the thought process that one gains any noticeable recruiting advantage with a player because of the chance to play at an opposing team's stadium that is within a few hours drive of his hometown. YMMV

ND disagrees with you. It thinks it is very important to play games in the Southeast and Southwest, for athletic recruiting and general student recruiting.

But, who knows?

OL Bartley Webb, part of the "Springdale Five" (which included QB Mitch Mustain).

Webb graduated from ND and is now an assistant coach at Springdale High.
