I remember, vividly, Trump winning the election, against all odds, and the complete meltdown of the left, which is still in full force. I also recall with great detail the fact that the left is 0-5 in elections since Trump took office. Not a good look for left handers at all.
If the libs have a memory at all, they'll change their ways or the reality that is today's political swing will put the last couple of nails in their collective coffins.
The entire Democratic Party has followed Kathy Griffin into the middle of complete irrelevance.
The GOP went 0 for in the special elections after Obama came into office. There is a reason.
Agree...however the reasons are very different...the GOP lost during those times because of lack of leadership...fair enough...libs are losing because of that too but there is a larger component that comes into play...they are obstructionists, in every way, on a stage for entire country to see...they have simply gone way too far and people see that
That is what the GOP was when Obama was elected too. They stated they would obstruct all of his issues that came through congress.
The the GOP got it together and now they are seemingly on top. Then again the Dems have shown to be resilient as well.
The dems did a horrible job this past election with Hillary. They were talking about social rights issues when it's always about jobs. It took a billionaire republican to talk about jobs. Dems botched the election and still can't figure out how they lost.
That will be the question, answered, in 2018. Unless they move more to the center of the far right. They will fail. President Trump won because he appealed to the working democrat. Some will say the poor..but they are mistaken. It's the ones that are working 7-5...10 hour days (not the 8) to try and get back that working class that a parent could support their family on.
If the republican can't keep moving to that center they will fail. Just like the democrats that moved way to far left. Then abandoned the working family.
Over the last 20 years the face of both parties have changed, just as it did, with the civil rights movements (time frame). A large part of the democrat base from 20 years ago are now siding with President Trump who is republican only by "name" . Both parties have flipped...
the rich use to look at the republican and the working class the democrats.
If both sides don't wake up and realize both need to move to the center and do what is right for the people that built this country and continues to built this country...
there be swings like we seen over the last 20 years
It's the loud mouths on both sides that you see on TV and all over the internet. For the most part they are the type that yaps, then sit home instead of standing in long lines. It's the voting working class that will decide who wins. That is where my party has lost their way.
