It won't be on campus tailgating. Lol

Comparing recruiting rankings from last year is dumb. ULM could take a bigger class this year and signed 24 while USA had to take a smaller class and only signed 16.
Comparing head to head football scores at this stage in our history is dumb because our series isn't long at all. ULM leads 2-1. ULM is 2-0 at home and USA is 1-0 at home. ULM won in 2012 against a Jag team that wasn't full FBS. USA won in 2013 and we didn't play again until last year where ULM won.
I've never been there, but no one is talking about ULM's baseball stadium, and from pictures it looks nice. ULM fans: out of football, baseball, and basketball, how would you rank the three facilities at ULM?
It's pretty dumb to make fun of our stadium when USA doesn't even have a on campus stadium.
It's pretty dumb to make comments on "looks" like we haven't built anything new it's clearly visible we have.
Yeah the approach to the thread was dick.

RE: My impressions of the ULM campus
Golota, have you ever been to another campus to have a point of reference??? No one likes it when you point out their faults, and you athletic facilities have faults. You may want to start with a simple parking lot resurface.....

Please explain when I disputed our athletic facilities didn't have faults ? You may want go read my comments again. I didn't dispute the athletic facilities faults. I mention this several times. I claimed our tailgating area is good.
Yes I have been to Places playing college football and visiting colleges through out The country watching games or driving through.
I know our tin suites are funny looking and I actually make fun of them too. However they sell for 15k a season and there's a waiting list. They're actually nice inside with seating TVs just like any other suite in college football. I do see why people make fun of them so I never dispute them looking crappy.
Thanks they're actually doing a simple parking resurface with track renovation.
I went to USA once but it was in 2000 on the way to Panama City for spring break. Obviously it's probably changed a lot since then. I looked up pictures of USA it's nice but I don't think it's that nice to be dogging ULM. Lol you're acting like it's Ole Miss.

RE: My impressions of the ULM campus
Internet arguments are fun
We are an athletic conference, my interest in your school is purely an athletic one. As far as the educational buildings, they may have been built in the 50's but completely remodeled on the inside and amazing place to learn. I never questioned that. Your athletic facilities were my main interest and what I was 90% referring to. Then you jumped to all kinds of conclusions and read a lot of BS into my post.
The pecan orchard did look like a nice place to tailgate, also the third base line of the baseball field during a game.

Yes athletics needs work but ULM is getting some stuff done. I can't argue that but some how we still beat teams with better stuff, more money, and beat them in recruiting. V sells them on what we do have vs what we don't have. That seems to be working. No it's not on the level as others but we're continuing to what we can. Softball got the new field turf and will have some other stuff going on. New training room is being built as we speak, weight room was redone, track facility is being Redone as we speak. Football although not on level as others still added a $4 million addition.

You're bored, I'm sitting in a hotel room in West Monroe on the 4th of July. Have been for 2 days.

L Club house renovation. This is where Lettermen come before the games and tailgate.

RE: My impressions of the ULM campus
I don't know how many SBC schools have a designated house for the Lettermen association. We also have the end zone tailgating for the game. We're at the house before the game in grove and end zone during game. I saw Ga Southern had a outside and then in stadium area. There's looked really cool.

My impressions of the ULM campus
Might be the best thread I’ve ever seen here.
Two schools with barely a pot to piss in arguing who has the bigger pot.

Damn, Bruno is a genius!!!! If Clayton Mobile Homes or FEMA cut ULM a good deal, the tin suites are in the black day one!!!!
