How do you celebrate this?
Apparently, today (7/3) is National Bean Day as well as National Fried Clam Day, and National Chocolate Wafer Day.
Tomorrow is National Sparerib Day (everyday should be) and Caesar Salad day.

I'm personally a huge fan of International Talk Like a Pirate Day (September 19th).

Looking over the calendar in the link JSA provided, I note that September is National Rice Month.

We need to plan something.

If you're into podcasts, Planet Money had a good episode not long ago on "The Holiday Industrial Complex". They track down who's creating and publicizing these 'National ______ Day' holidays, and why. Worth a listen!

Well it's not the killer September schedule we've seen in some years, but just in case, I'll cue up this song like I do every year. At least it's a great song and a pretty well done video.
