No, it has been a bad week that hoped President Trump would rise above the mud, and hoped he would be more of a CEO type of President that would focus on issues and not the BS Washington politics.

Well he has shown he cannot be the leader this country needs to bring Congress together (at this point) and is doing what sunk President Obama and that is just focusing on his base and screwing the rest of America.

Trumps credibility takes an equal hit on that claim doesn't it? He can't prove what he said, Times can't prove otherwise. Why does one lose ALL credibility, the other none? Why ignore the instigation and condemn the rebut?

actually, there is a study out there that states that more than likely at least 3 million people voted illegally.

New study, wasn't around when Trump made the claim or when he was called on it. And a study isn't proof. Far from it. So still my question remains. His to prove what he said is true. Then and still now. Otherwise it's not out of line to question his claim.

And a study isnt proof? Are you serious with that statement? Look, well all know you hate Trump, but you dont have to be so butthurt about him winning the election. 07-coffee3

RE: Liars destroying our culture
Trump wasn't talking about losing the popular vote in '08, '10 or '14. So although I'm sure in your mind you were making some sort of who-knows-what point, pretty much 100% irrelevant to '16.

Yes, a study isn't proof. Lot of left wing groups do studies too. I bet you everything I own and will earn in the future you take them with a grain of salt and dismiss them as "fake". You want to amend your statement to something like "studies that support my bias are proof, others are fake"? Think that's what you meant instead of "And a study isnt proof? Are you serious with that statement?"

And I get tired of repeating myself... alas, once more. I've been clear on my preference of Trump over Hillary. Doesn't pain my butt in the slightest he won. My butt would have been fine even if she had won. One SC Justice already made his Presidency preferable to one by Hillary.

I however have integrity and will question anyone in power whichever side of the isle they reside on. Obama, Trump, I care not who's lying to me. I'm calling them on it. Not doing as others here do and make excuses, cover and lie for "my guy".

Team over country is wrong when it's the left and equally so when it's the right.

What a ridiculous attempt to backtrack on your comments in the other thread...

Yes...
'There's no evidence of illegal voting' CLEARLY meant to say 'there's evidence of illegal voting, just not to that degree.'

People who write for a living and have editors check their work clearly make such obvious mistakes all the time.

I mean who would EVER think that
'There's no evidence of illegal voting' means that 'there's no evidence of illegal voting'?

It would have taken far more words to say
'this claim is grossly overstated'... or simply adding the words 'nearly that much' to a relatively long editorial.

Yeah, you got me dead to rights using my own words against me. 01-wingedeagle

Pretty clear what I said. That was "prove it". Any of those years. Fraud happens. We still don't know to what extent. Your studies aren't proof of Trumps claim of 3 to 5 million illegal votes. There may have been a few million illegal votes in any of those years. I'm skeptical it could be anywhere near that wide spread. We aren't catching but a few. Jumping to millions is quit a leap. But I'm open to proof. So prove it.

So back were we started. Trump claimed it without offering any proof. It's appropriate to call him out on it and ask where he got his numbers. He doesn't want to answer "his ass" so he goes with "fake news". But that's Trumps answer when questioned on lots of his claims, name calling instead of proving himself.

'Cause when you're lying you by definition have no proof.

Nobody's said that he can't. I just can't see any sign that he will due to his personality and inability to focus.

I don't think he's a bad guy, but sometimes a person's temperament is not very compatible with a particular job. His temperament and personality are why he wouldn't be allowed to buy an NFL team and part of the reason the USFL doesn't exist anymore. Maybe that same thing is catching up to him now.

Respect. Admit you prefer Trump over the alternative but not afraid to call him on his bull****. America would be much better if more people behaved this way. Both Dems in 09-16 and Reps now.

Do you not think that would be the necessary proof? You don't see a spread of 3 to 5 million itself means it's a guess? You know a guess isn't proof? It was 2 people or 20 or a thousand or a million. But no one knows. Therefore... therefore... therefore... come on, you can get it.

Short of presenting these supposed millions of fraudulent ballots, nothings proved. You have guesses, hypotheses, opinions, estimates, extrapolations, conspiracies, lies ... but no proof.

Trump pulled it out of his ass, can't prove it and you're going to go to your grave defending him. And attack anyone who dares asked his highness to back up his claims. Cool beans. But sad. News flash: he's just the President. You can question him.

Team over country is wrong when it's the left and equally so when it's the right.

so you are saying that just because a few million people voted illegaly, in '08, '10 and '14, that doesnt mean that a few million people voted illegally in '16 even though more people voted in '16 than any previous years? If you truly believe your own bull**** logic, then I have an ocean front property to sell you in New Mexico.

'Cause when you're lying you by definition have no proof.

how far do you want the proof to go? Do you want all 3-5mil names of the people that illegally voted? will that suffice? 07-coffee3

I guess you forgot how studies work... but according to you, every study out there is fake because there is no substantial proof. Trump didnt pull the numbers out of his ass, this study has been going on for at least 10 years. I guess by your account, smoking doesnt cause lung cancer because a study says it does huh? Hell, just last month, in Virginia, they found out that at least 1800 people voted illegally.

Like I said, I know you hate Trump, and you will go against him on anything because he beat down your guy to a pulp. But how about criticizing him on his policies?

Damn, click the link to the WT story in the other thread about this. There are two studies in that story. One says zero. I didn't claim as you just said that ANY study is fake. They're just studies. Pretty sure you'll say the one that found zero is fake though.

They're studies. Nothing more nothing less. So one "proves 3 to 5 million" (and I'll repeat, that tells you it's not known how many.) The other "proves" zero.

I mean if you're gonna claim studies are proof and all. Square 'em for me.

They led to Trump calling for an investigation led by Pence. This is good. We need to get an accurate picture and devise ways to stop all fraud in our elections. But I'm not putting faith in studies that come to such widely varying conclusions. You're free to partisanly pick one and discard another and incorrectly claim "proof" if you like. Fraud happens. We don't know the extent.

And he beat down my guy? Would someone, anyone please, tell me who my guy was. And critisizing him on his policies? Must be missing some of my posts. But I'm not limiting myself there because you would like me to. Guy wants to say untruths, he deserves criticism for them too. Same as Obama got. From you too. Trump doesn't get a pass.
