I believe state law prohibits any public university from selling beer here.

It does. It was great at MGM. We definitely need to find a way to change that law.

Tell them to make up the difference in lost revenue with added funding. That ought to prompt some action :)

They'll give the funding to State and Ole Miss

It's a year too late. They would have made a killing last fall. LOL!

They wouldn't have made anything. After we lost to NT and Charlotte everyone stopped coming.

It's a good bump in revenue. We started selling beer back in 2012. There was a lot of talk after our first game selling beer that UTEP had made over $28,000 that night. I have no idea if those numbers are still consistent.

I hope we do it like Akron and not WKU. No offense, but you have to invest a half hour at WKU if you want a beer. Akron has those cool bottom fill dispensers and can pump out something like 36 beers per minute, per station. Marshall fans drank the visitors side dry when we went up there in 2014.

Beer sales are a great source of revenue. FAU's been doing it in GA seating for 3 years now.

When are Mississippi laws not decades behind the rest of the country?

Apparently they have some tough laws about writing hot checks.

The last time we played there, 2015, the beer cart closest to the visitors section.

Hopefully we don't need beer this year. I'm looking forward to getting hooked on blazeraid. Marshall may need the beer to distract them from the coaching on the field. Or non-coaching. 05-stirthepot
