Not surprising KK went out of business down there. You folks think beef is BBQ.

We probably would have seceded from the Confederacy over BBQ had it lasted long enough.

Beef is life. I do like cooking some pork ribs about once a month though.

Pulled pork is my go to. But I can't deny brisket. That's good ****. BBQ should not be a dividing force, if used properly slow cooked meats could be one of the great forces of good in this world.
Amen

Before Statesboro got a Krispy Kreme, if we ever craved it, we'd go to Daylight Donuts and honestly I think Daylights is better. Their donuts are more old fashioned, less grease and more glaze.

Best I have had was Blanchards in Hapeville. They unfortunately went out of business because the state is building an off ramp and access road near the airport right over where they were located.

LOL...wut? You're giving up 6 schools???

Sounds good to me. That would make the Belt the very first 16-team "superconference" (P6?).

Probably so. In NC we're constantly fighting the east vs west (actually Lexington) style BBQ war. Fortunately the only casualties have been the pigs.

Agreed. It would be one hell of a donut to overtake Krispy Kreme

Krispy Kreme donuts always seemed greasy to me at least as far as the glazed ones are concerned. I'm OK with the cream filled Krispy Kreme but they're still not great IMHO.

I guess you're entitled to your wrong opinion...

Krispy Kreme only lasted 3 months in Lafy back in the mid 2000's .. Local chain shut them down

Poor souls... don't know a good thing when it's right in front of them.

USM also had history on their side, Texas State doesn't. The last time Texas State had a dominate team Ronald Reagan was in the White House. Since then Texas State made the IAA playoffs only twice, 2005 and 2008. And have yet to be selected to a bowl game.
If we are comparing Apples to Oranges. UNCC has never had a winning season.

Yes, remind us like everyone else.
1. we were eligible twice
2. both times, teams we beat got a Bowl over us because of lack of SBC tie ins and we weren't close enough/didn't have history

So before you go spouting, at least be somewhat accurate.

If its a discussion with App fans during the "offseason" all roads lead to pulled pork.

On a related note I purchased a Masterbuilt Electric Smokehouse last year and I have to say I have never had better pork in my life than what I cook on that thing:

Yes they use different meats, but never refer to chicken, brisket or ribs as BBQ. Order BBQ in any restaurant in the South and see what meat they bring you.
