RE: Dream Football Postseason
My dream?

Each division champ in the P5 gets in and the top two ranked G5 conference champs. The top four ranked division champs get a first round bye. Then seed the next 8 schools with a committee. Winners play the top 4 and go on until a champ is crowned. Everyone has to have divisions and be in a conference so the XII has to expand to 12 and ND needs to join up with someone. Look for BYU to join up with someone, either the XII has them or they throw in with a G5 conference and try and win that every year.

Goddamit I hate "auto" anything..... If you are not one of the best X number of teams you do not get it - I don't care if you win your CC - in general football terms this should take care of itself most years as long as you have enough teams in the playoff in the first place. IMO 4 is not enough and 16 is way too many. Something between 8-12 teams seems to feel about right in any given year though... Then you can still reward a team with an anomaly loss but is still really good - See Penn State or even Oklahoma (not dumping on Houston, but that one loss probably kept them out too)?

After that 8-12 range serious flaws start to show up in any team's resume.
