But Hornet, what will you do with the FB team, I don't think Fullerton will look kindly at them bailing on everything but football.

UC-San Diego

Southern New Hampshire

Wants D1. They would not help the Summit. Robert Morris might be added to Horizon soon. Maybe football slide into Big South with Monmouth?

Columbus State and LIU-Post also looking at D1, but would not help the Summit.

The closest schools that looking at D1 from D2 are the Lone Star Conferences. Not sure who is closer to Oral Roberts.

Dude, it's DavidSt. ... a school that knew for sure that it was being considered would start to get nervous if DavidSt listed them.

I did not said they are considered. Just schools that mentioned to want D1, but none in the Summit or Horizon be considered. If Robert Morris is a candidate, would LIU-Post be taken as well since they are a metro school in NYC?

Just be happy he finally said "UC San Diego" and not "Cal-San Diego". This is a big win for him, let him enjoy it.

Surprised no one posted this one

I guess the President's of the HL aren't real happy with their old buddy Valpo. Pretty slimy for their President to bring forth language punishing anyone for leaving without a one year notice, then leaving without giving a one year notice. Not real impressive Valpo. My guess is they will be paying up.

No, what's slimy is that the guy who speared the increase then gives some BS excuse like saying they're somehow grandfathered into exclusion.

It's sad watching both of these sides spat. They've already both lost some of their best parts.

I think we are in agreement on who looks the worst. Valpo should have simply paid the $500K and moved on.

Of course on the other side you have the Horizon League who invited IUPUI a day later, who gave no notice to the Summit reeking havoc on the Summit League schools. No love loss for either. LeCrone is as slimy as they get.

Valpo has zero case in that one. Sounds like an ugly divorce.
