This thread is for football. Other sports are not in the G5 vs P5 conversation. Football is where the biggest divide is. Compare apples to apples. Not every school has the same number or type of sports.

Besides, why dont you get your football numbers up and have something to brag about. Instead of just complaining about everything

It sounds like you're mad because ODU's overall athletic numbers hurt the conference average.

What does it really matter? Many people just follow the athletics department because they get all the FB stuff, plus. UNCC has 5.7K football followers and 30K athletic department followers. ODU has 36.7K football followers and 10.9K athletic department followers. I wouldn't discredit UNCC followers because they want to go to the AD account to see FB info vs. the FB account.

I'd say people are following the more active account. In some cases ODU Football/Basketball/etc. in others in just Charlotte 49er's.

Surprised how high FAU's numbers and how low UTSA number....

I thought all schools have each twitter account updated for each sport...This is how WKU does it, even sports like softball, golf and track and field have their own separate twitter accounts that update and tweet regularly for each sport...

ODU Football has 36.8K followers.

So you can pick and choose stats (followers) that make ODU look better but if other schools do it, it's because they are complaining? Get your athletic numbers up instead of just leaning on football. It can go both ways.

I got 2% less weeds in my yard than my Georgia Southern neighbor. Go CUSA!

Ran a quick audit on UCF/USF twitters since they were the two most followed by a wide margin.

I could only run two for free before they wanted me to pay. Anyone else feel free to go run some audits on other accounts, I'm interested to see what results we get.

USF - 32k fake followers
