RE: CWS
Much as I dislike the idea of an SEC championship series, I don't want TCU anywhere near the national title.
Go Gators!

I'm somewhat with you on this, but once the Oregon State thing came out, "anybody but TCU" became "anybody but TCU or OSU."
Can't believe I'm pulling for the $EC, but... there you go. Of course I was backing Fullerton, but let's be honest: Fullerton came from a relatively weak conference and region, and they managed to fluff the chances they did have in the CWS. Fullerton was basically better than everyone else in the West aside from Oregon State, and incredibly the Titans got their shot at the Beavers and blew it.

Agree. If I'm not mistaken, Malcolm Gillis was a Florida alum. So there's another reason.

And, according to some posters, they championed us for admission to the SEC 25 years ago.

RE: CWS
Florida beat LSU 2 games to 1 in Gainesville this year. The first game was won by Fla 1-0 in a pitcher's duel between Faedo and Lange. It should be interesting.

With Walker injured, they're gambling with "all staff" tonight, then going with Poche and Lange the final two games (they hope).

RE: CWS
One thing LSU hasn't run out of is called strikes in the outside batter's box (early in the game).
And they can hit.

Singer's pitches have some nasty movement. First time Ive watched him pitch. I'm impressed.

RE: CWS
Florida's starting lineup tonight does not have a single batter hitting over .300, and only one with an on-base percentage over .400. Four guys hitting below .260, including one regular .179. Team AVG is below .270...and they don't hit for power either, or steal many bases. Pitching and defense. Period.

RE: CWS
LSU has committed 3 errors in the first 2 innings and are now down 2-0. If not for a couple line drive outs, Florida would be up at least 4-0.

RE: CWS
Highly controversial interference call on a double play erases the tying run
Looks like the right call, but wow, to take away the tying run in what may be the final game...yeesh. Dumb slide by LSU's Slaughter
