Conference USA

While there has been perhaps no conference more decimated by realignment than the C-USA, it should finally take a turn for the better this season. The biggest riser is Western Kentucky, who will be the most talented mid-major in the country this season. Rick Stansbury has brought in a top-10 recruiting class along with multiple key transfers to completely overhaul the WKU roster. In addition, UAB is expected to rebound from a rough 2016-17 thanks to the return of several key contributors and the introduction of a very strong recruiting class in its own right. Combine those two rising teams with squads like Middle Tennessee, LA Tech, and Old Dominion that should be extremely good, and you get a Conference USA that will assert itself as one the top mid-major leagues in the country.

We're still in a one bid league, and you're crazy if you dont have the fighting Stansburys in that one slot. We would have to set a tone in the ooc part of the schedule to even get a true look im afraid.

Also i think the starters are somewhat set right now the team is just gelling. This last scholarship could make or break Eshan imho.

Imho

The frontcourt is
5 Lee
4 Gueye

Coke first off the bench as HaHa and Mak could be the better rim protectors. Coke is one of the best coming off the bench players ive seen around here instant everything. Could play big or small with Thomas or Lewis as a compliment. I think Lewis has a shot a pt on the perimeter.

Backcourt
3 Lavender
2 Perry
1 Norton

Its basically the vets/ upperclassmen. The young backcourt of Darling and Bryant isnt to be slept on. Outside of Jalen we know what every vet brings at the moment.

Totally agree part of the reason i feel coach Eshan has to finish the 2017 class strong.

Bryant
Gueye
Hurtado
Perry
Hogan
????

Getting Green would be nice also he would be the fourth pg ,and the end to a pretty good class.

I feel we are better prepared if we lose norton this year. I'm still amazed at how much we just gloss over the fact that we were missing what we now know was our MVP from that team.

I like our team this year. Getting Norton back and adding a legitimate 3 point threat in Jalen Perry is what we were missing most last year. I'm also excited to get Sullivan back.

Yep, will help very much having Norton back this year healthy. With someone behind him that can actually play.
