It's still not over. The top 8 after prelims get 3 additional throws.

But the 1st three throws are done, correct? I wanted to show the shortest distance that made the finals. Sorry for any confusion.

In the Hammer Throw, the only American who has hit the WC standard (76.00 meters/ 249' 4") is Rudy Winkler (Cornell). He did that at last year's Olympic Trials. He's going to finish 4th today, but he'll be the only American hammer thrower in London.

I must correct a mistake from an earlier post. The top 8 finishers in the Hammer Throw will have until July 21 to hit 76 meters.
