I think the MSM should be investigated for the constant division of our country. The MSM loves the ratings today unfortunately.

Was just on Facebook and this story is a trending topic. One of the responses on the wall quipped: "Is it wrong that I smiled when I heard Steve Scalise was shot?"

There were 20 responses, over half which agreed and compared Republicans to Hitler and rapists who deserve to be shot.

What is funny (ok not very funny) is the people that complaining about the MSM role, are doing the same thing. It was what 2 posts in before politics came out and starting blaming the other side. I don't know any republican or democrat that wants to hurt the other party in real life.

Yet looking at this board you would think that it has been promoted all over liberal sites to do this. Just like when Rep. Gifford was shot most TGOP members expressed concerned with it.

Sad day that as a society, its more about politics than human life.

Nice try. The shooter was a leftist who hated Bush and who had a severe mental condition likely sparked by the use of hallucigens and serious drugs.

He shot Giffords because he attended one of her events, and didnt like the answer to a question her posed to her. Typical antifa mentality, dont like what you are hearing? Get violent.

Technically he was an Independent with a history of drug abuse and mental instability who believed women shouldn't hold positions of power. He was described as both radically left wing, and a populist and anti-govt. He was also mad that Giffords didn't answer a question he had asked earlier. Lots of issues with that guy.

I see a lot of people attack "liberals." I am not one. I will not be put into a category. I think for myself. And because I think for myself I find this to reprehensible for some of you to say some of the things you are saying.

If you did not say the exact same thing about the biased opinions by far right wing "media" when Kathy Giffords was shot then you are living a double standard. You know, it's deplorable when the bad people attack "my side" of the political spectrum but when the other side of the political spectrum is attacked by those "with my political views" then just go quiet, sweep it under the rug and wait for the next time the other side goes rogue so you can criticize them again. This is exactly what both sides currently do.

People need to stop being sheep. The problem isn't the media. The problem is the people who increasingly only want to be informed by their pre-existing viewpoints and don't care what the other viewpoints might be. And as a result the media further caters to that. Until the people think independently with their own brains this is only going to get worse.

We're going to see greater police presence surrounding Congress, keeping the people even farther away from their representatives.

how they are not held accountable for spewing false narratives will become law very soon.....

a name has to be attached.....the media needs to be held accountable....
