Especially being a Skins fan, one of my favorite Dukes (and Redskins) of all time. He joined with Art Monk and Ricky Sanders to form The Posse. One of the best WR trios in NFL history. All 3 of them gained over 1,000 yards receiving in the 1989 season.

Clark was a 4-time Pro Bowler and won 2 Super Bowl rings with the Skins. Also, he is in the Redskins Ring of Honor. He was drafted out of JMU to the USFL's Jacksonville Bulls and played there for 2 seasons before moving to the Skins via a supplemental draft for USFL and CFL players.

He caught 16 TD's in purple and returned 3 punts for TD's as well. He played HS ball at Pulaski County HS in Dublin, VA.

I will salute Gary Clark today with multiple Bud Lights.

Always wondered why JMU doesn't seem to have a great relationship with Clark these days, or at least that's the way it seems. Not sure which side that usually falls on, but feel like this is a relationship with an alum that could be leveraged a bit more.
