Josh Sims comes to H'burg from the Atlanta area where he starred at Eastside HS in Covington, GA. The Dukes' training staff will want to put some weight on him I'm sure as he is listed at 150 pounds. He was an honor roll student at Eastside.

Another out-of-state honor roll student starting out with the #83 jersey is Kyndel Dean, who hails from Winston-Salem, NC, via Parkland HS. His bio advises he was a successful sprinter in T&F at Parkland.

Good luck to Kyndel in his first season at JMU. Both he and Josh have the opportunity to step up and into the rotation at WR as well as special teams.

JMU freshmen arrive today. Mike Houston told me Friday every player JMU is counting on for 2017 will be in class/working out by Monday.

Does this statement only apply to freshmen, or all players? If all players, does this mean we won't be expecting that rumored OL transfer, after all?

Low 22's in the 200 and 49's in the 400 meters........very good speed.

Believe it only applies to Freshmen. Many of the players stay in H'Burg all summer to train and take summer classes so wouldn't rule out the OL transfer still. We still haven't even heard anything on the two UVA transfers either
