Hundreds of liberals are refreshing Twitter every two seconds 24/7 to copy off whatever he Tweets. I suspect it will all be saved without any taxpayer assistance.

And conservatives are going to take their word on the accuracy of said saved tweets? This is also not about saving taxpayers money... you could fit all of his tweets on a $10 flashdrive and a $15 paper backup including lamination and binding.

I suspect that the National Archives spends a bit more to archive things than just having the janitor go out and buy a $10 flash drive. Just a guess though.

Lol of course but you know what I'm saying, it would cost less than one of the weekly vacations our president takes to mar-a-lago that you don't mind paying for.

He tweets, it's part of the public record. WH agrees, "The president is president of the United States so they are considered official statements by the president of the United States,".

No chilling effect on speech. No silencing of opinion. None of the blathering nonsense posted above.

The White House's statement predated the introduction of the bill...

It's one thing to have them subject to being preserved; its's quite another to make deleting one a Federal crime--which is of course the goal and which in turn is designed ultimately to stop the Tweets.

I'm not sure if you are just unhappy or slow but I'm starting to think it could be both.

Paul is none of the above. You have a problem with people trying to control this reckless president? Do you have a problem with rules?

I've taken the obvious as obvious. You're the one stuck on falsehoods.
