I'm going regardless!

Coming off a game against UNC, will we at least be able to hang with Virginia Tech? Last year we had a good team, but we were no match for App State, WKU, or NCSU. I feel like if we had won at least one of the games above our team would be legit. That was not Marshall we beat. Are we going to be "there" in 2017?

Think we have a better shot against UNC than VT, due to all the turnover they suffered. And Fuente appears to be the real deal. But I wont be comfortable with any prognostications until we see who the QB is and how well they run the offense.

Yeah, it's kind of weird. I jumped thru these hoops last April and put in a request for 4 tickets. The price per ticket is $0. I emailed them today and asked when I should expect to be billed for these 4. I don't know why it wasn't done from the get go.

I called 757-683-4444 and paid for my tickets. Word of warning, this isn't exactly coordinated!

Due to limited availability, only orders by current ODU Football season ticket holders can be guaranteed at this time. Season ticket holders that request tickets will be charged immediately after confirmation of their status. All orders by non-season ticket holders will be held, and not charged, until July 17th, to be filled based on availability. To receive priority, season ticket holders should order prior to July 1st. * Tickets will be $45 (additional fees will apply).
ODU ticket locations at Lane Stadium will be within sections 37, 39, 501, and 502. All requests will be fulfilled or notified of lack of availability by July 17th.

Does anyone know how many tickets ODU gets?

I want to go bad but have to wait to see what my daughters soccer schedule is - that comes first (only a couple more years). Good chance I won't be going.

I am trying my all to attend this game. My oncologist has other plans. May have 2 tickets to unload at the last minute.

A heard a coworker bitching about having to play ODU as if it is beneath the chokies. Please beat the hell out of VT. I hate VT.

I feel the same way. It would instantly become our marquee win in our short history. But it will be a tall task with the hole we have at LB and a brand new QB playing their first ever game on the road. Here's hoping they turn it over as much as they did against Tennessee last year.
