I have already seen speculation that Bob is waiting out Brian Kelly at Notre Dame. Apparently, Stoops recently purchased a $2.25 million dollar home in Chicago ....

So, maybe this becomes somewhat more related to the ACC.

I have no idea if Stoops has any intention of coming back to coaching, but at age 56, it's hard to see him not coming back. Although Bill Cowher walked. As did Jon Gruden. As did Tony Dungy. As did Dick Vermeil ... oh wait .. Vermeil took a 40 year sabbatical before coming back to win the Super Bowl (lol). So ... who knows.

Seriously though, he's been good for Oklahoma and college football. Sad to see him go.

The Big 12-2's only flagship coach just left. If Oklahoma doesn't do good this is a big blow for that conference.
