How is the messaging not coordinated? There has not been any contradictory messaging.

The WH is not required to put out a dossier or write the report for the press.
The press should, given this information from POTUS, go to Congress, do the FOIA request, verify the nomination and hearings scheduled, and then dig on the nominee's background.

Frankly, I'm tired of "reporting" that is merely regurgitation of press releases.
