Exclamation Syracuse and Western Michigan H&H question.
I thought the ACC announced they wouldn't be doing non-cartel 5 road games anymore? I see today that they start a H&H with Western Michigan next year. Did the ACC change that policy?

I think it was scheduled when SS was HC at SU, and I'm not sure if it's s H&H. It might be the last 2 games of a 2-1. But I honestly don't know/remember.

There isn't one, UNC is playing both ODU & Charlotte on the road. This is basically (a) winnable game & (b) within reasonable driving distance of several major population centers that Syracuse wants to recruit.

I looked into it, and I think it let's us start 2019 w 2 away games (which gives us a cushion for the stadium renovation), a significant chunk of the WMU staff coached at SU, and it's a winnable game.

(The @UMD game was moved to week 2 as part of the same announcement)

No such policy exists. Only policy is ACC must play a P5 OOC every season.

I think Pitt announced some internal policy like that, but I don't think the ACC has any such policy.

(found it: http://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2015/10/2...ower-five/ )

Yes, including their HC, the DC and the director of football operations. Its great for coaches to have those connections. You never know when you may need to draw from them.
