WHAT'S REALLY BEHIND AMERICAN AIRLINES' CANCELLATION OF THE TEL AVIV-PHILADELPHIA ROUTE? (2015)

GOD HELP US!
I don't think that the code share with Qatar really had much to do with the TLV cancellation by AA. They tried flying it from PHL, which is not the most optimal hub to do so. There is a sh*tload of competition on US-ISR flights and the prices are sometimes HALF those for US-EUROPE flights, across all flight categories.
There are many airlines that have flown, and still fly to Israel AND Qatar. They include Royal Jordanian, British Airways, Egypt Air, Ethiopian, Lufthansa, Turkish and Swiss. Several of these airlines maintain codeshares with Qatar Airways.
---
Basically, for AA, its a long flight with lower fares from a non-optimal hub (or they can go compete in the NYC-TLV scrum). They also had a 20 million dollar judgement related to TWA that they're fighting too.

They are going to visit their relatives in the US, and most of them are non-Muslims traveling from India/East Africa. Have you been on a ME3 flight? The VAST majority of pax are connecting, and at least on the non-Texas ME3 flights, they're going to India. Air India sucks, so do the US carriers, and the ME3 is usually cheaper than the European airlines.
BTW, they were coming over here before ME3 started flying, but were coming on other airlines.

Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrein, Oman, Assad, Iran, Egypt, and Qatar all provide support to violent groups that oppose human rights.
I don't see ANY difference between the Saudis, the Iranians, and the Qataris. We don't need their oil, their nat gas, or their human rights abuses....Why would Trump try to pick a side here....
Are you saying the Saudis are better than the Qataris or the Iranians? I wouldn't.
And do you really care who 'wins' in Yemen? I guarantee it won't be human rights that wins there. Do you even know who the players are? Basically, the Saudis are stuck in an unwinnable war in Yemen. I see no reason to get involved with anyone over there.
I'd just assume the US say.."you know what....you guys can go pound sand...we have no use for your oil or your geopolitics...we could care less who wins in Syria or Iraq or Yemen, unless there's a decent option. Right now there isn't. So if you want peace...make peace, want war, make war...but you can leave us the hell out of it.
Of course Trump got played by the Saudis.
I hope the cell rents a house near your favorite bar and away from my house of worship. You're nuts bro!
Our bars and houses of worship have been attacked.

http://www.wyff4.com/article/defendant-i...ce/6986701 Unprovoked attack by a entitled white man. Gay man dies. Got 2 years in prison for it. After he murdered Sean, he left a message on the parents of the dead man's answering machine saying "Tell that fag*ot he owes me 500 bucks for the broken hand". Court system in South Carolina thought it was just straight white privilege to murder a Gay man.
There are literally HUNDREDS of cases like this. These are COMMON. Want another hundred links? Just let me know.
And yes, there was Pulse and another shooting in Seattle perpetrated by Muslims.
Now lets go to Gay church services attacked.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knoxville_...h_shooting Several dead. White Right Winger upset about Gay people opened fire on a church filled with peaceful people, who were there to watch a presentation by 25 small children....killing 2, wounding 6.
Here's a bar AND a church being attacked. 32 dead. Church service being held at a bar.
http://www.advocate.com/crime/2013/11/15...y?page=0,4 No idea who did it (the police didn't bother to investigate - nor care), but I seriously doubt it was a Muslim.
---
I fail to see any specific issue with Muslims. Jews, Christians and Muslims have attacked Gay bars and churches.
---
I'm off to Europe later on this week. I'm no less safe there than I am here...I'm probably safer btw in Europe, less people with guns. As a Gay man, I have to accept that there is a non-zero probability that I will be attacked by someone, simply for existing. The book that the attacker uses to justify an attack on me or the religious heritage that the attacker felt condoned it is really of little consequence to me. I will note, however, that I don't see any difference between getting killed by a Christian extremist or a Muslim one.
----
Now back to the thread. I also don't see much difference between ISIS and the Saudis or the Iranians. I think I'd prefer the Iranians, slightly, out of the three groups....at least there are liberal Iranians. But for the US to even bother to support one side or the other is just stupid IMHO. But Trump certainly loves him some Saudis. Maybe they can shout "Allahu Trump" when they behead a woman for getting raped, stone a Gay man for existing, etc.
