The results don't show I'm a "leftist". That's your term, not mine.

I'm not a registered Democrat. I vote for candidates, not parties.

Social Liberalism is on the left, thus a leftist.

Judging by the content of your posts I would say you are closer to a full blown socialist than a typical dim.

Why are you so concerned about being labeled a bad person for your political views?

Oh the irony of this being in the same post as above.

Liberal caricatures of people like me are rarely correct and often ridiculously inaccurate at the base level. Now, that doesn't stop liberals from calling me racist, classist, racist again, mysogynist and/or any other number of terrible things - and always things they would never dream of saying to any other type of person, but use against others like a cudgel.

Just to be clear, I am not looking for sympathy, I just enjoy to no end pointing out progressive hypocrisy.

Fair enough.

Do you only experience this on message boards, or do people you've never met before call you racist/etc. in public?

Left ... with respect to what?

Highly doubt I'd support a candidate that was an actual socialist. Far too easy to just throw the term around these days.

I'm not too worried if someone thinks I'm a horrible person or a racist, on here.

The political spectrum.

Why? You think the answer to almost every problem is more government control.

Oh but you are quick to protest when someone correctly calls you a leftist.

Not true. Plus, believing that some regulation is justified does not mean you want a socialist government.

Not protesting. Just questioning

Took it again a couple days after the first time to see how much change I had. Some of the questions I was so so on and took more time with them this time. I don't know which answers changed...my guess is the degree of the answer more than the answer. But overall...nothing much changed

Took it again, and just read and responded, no long thoughts on nuance or the if's, whats or buts.

Went from Moderate Conservatism to:

Economic Axis: Capitalist
24.4%
75.6%
Diplomatic Axis: Patriotic
67.6%
32.4%

Civil Axis: Moderate
45.4%
54.6%
Societal Axis: Neutral
56.3%
43.7%
Closest Match: Neo-Liberalism

Ideological matching is a work in progress, and is much less accurate than the values and axes.

So, I'm a Lib!

Ya'll lefty haters back off! 03-lmfao

Moderate Conservatism

Overall, a lot of questions were bad and got marked neutral because no single answer could be chosen.

Don't know about that. There is always a right answer for you, just depends on if you want to admit how you really feel about something. Especially people that take the time to post on an internet forum like this. If you weren't opinionated, you wouldn't be here.

Moderates tend not to be people who have views that are in the middle, but are more people that don't want to decide. Retake the test and focus more on being honest with yourself. Don't overthink the questions.

How can you not overthink the questions? Many of them are complex questions demanding a cookie cutter simplistic answer.

I'll give an example.

One of the questions was as folllows

Climate change is of the utmost importance? (Something similar to that)

That question is very vague. Do they mean man made climate change or natural climate change?

I agree that we can find a better solution to coal or oil as a power source but because I like clean air and not necessarily because I believe in climate change.

Where does that put me on that list? I chose neutral because there was not an answer that I thought fit
