Ethan hails from Mechanicsville where he starred at Atlee HS. He was redshirted last season to rest up his leg from the numerous PAT's and kickoffs he will have to execute over the remainder of his collegiate career. He will compete for the starting placekicking role this year. We need depth because our kickers' legs will get very tired as they are the opposite of our punters in terms of activity.

Good luck to Ethan this season. You never know when we may need a critical late game field goal.

I hope some of these young men read what your write-ups on them. Should pump 'em up knowing that the fans think that much of them and the team.

Ethan is a 13 year old child prodigy. JMU is seeking a five year I need to grow up to look like a man instead of a boy redshirt. The NCAA recently instituted this redshirt for players who lack facial hair and still drink chocolate milk with a sippy straw.

There is nothing wrong with chocolate milk, which, as a JMU study showed, is a great post workout beverage. Florida can keep their Gatorade. The choco milk is working great for the Dukes!

It's the off-season and I thought I would spice up the boards with some humor. You have to admit, the boy looks really young in that picture.

Ha! You got me BP. There are several of us long timers on here. One of the things I enjoy about these boards is the multiple generations that come here and share their opinions and love for our Dukes.

'83 grad on the infamous 5 year plan. Our numbers are hidden, but influential !

Sounds something like me, also an '82 graduate on the 6 year plan. I transferred to JMU with 36 credits in 1976 and finished my degree requirements in 1982. Even then I didn't want to leave.
