I had that happen one night on I10 on the way back from Pensacola. I saw headlights ahead and this car comes whizzing by me in what seemed like slow motion but he had to be doing 70. Luckily they were sober enough to keep it straight. Glad you're OK Chief.

I had the exact same thing happen to me on I-10 about 30 miles out from Jacksonville around 12:30 at night. Wife and son asleep. I see headlights coming and think it was an illusion from a curve or something until the semi in front of me hammers it to the shoulder which I promptly followed him in.

The guy in our lanes was flying. Called 911 and they said they knew. Tried to figure out how it happened. Thought maybe he came out of the rest area up ahead in the wrong direction. Googled head on accident I-10 for the next couple days. Nothing. So hopefully they got him off the highway.

Anyhoo, it skeered the shitt out of me and my loved ones. I'm glad Chief made it out okay. Glad he was wearing his seat belt. I don't understand anyone that doesn't these days.
