Great Q&A here with Dildy. Nice to see that he still has an optimistic outlook on the program after the last couple of years at Chi St.

Nice article. Dildy is pure class. And I love his optimism and determination. I gotta say, I'm rooting for Chi St. They get a lot of flack, but you have to admire a guy like Dildy.

Hopefully the Cougars final WAC year will be a little more competitive than last year.

That he is still interim AD and no money is allocated for hiring a new one, pretty much indicates that Athletics are not a priority of the new administration (nor should they be). I wish him luck, but he is saddled with an impossible task.

They're not going anywhere unless the state fails to release some sort of emergency funds or fails to do their job. Regardless of what me or others may say, I know you won't believe that until this time next year.

Regarding a permanent AD, they opened up the position on their hiring site and it has since closed. However, without having a budget they likely don't want to commit another 125k to an administrator until the stalemate in Springfield is over.
