You overlooked a sentence in the article that stated that Virginia has 11 national championships in those years for second place in that regard.

Where's Pitt?
Pitt zero, only win was gymnastics which ACC doesn't sponsor.

RE: Team Championships
All time ACC championships
#1-Carolina (265)
#2-Maryland (196)
#3 thru #6-Clemson, Duke, State, UVa (between 120-130)
Since the first Director's Cup was awarded for the 1993-94 season, Carolina has more top ten finishes than the rest of the ACC combined (including Notre Dame).

And a dual meet wrestling championship in 2014 (6-0)...but the ACC doesn't give out regular season championships for some strange reason.

According to wikipedia your order is incorrect. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_At..._champions[/url]
Not counting Maryland, UVa is second in all-time ACC championships and then follows Clemson, NCST and Duke. No one else is even close to them. And UVa is second in national championships by ACC schools (first in men's sports).

The order was random because it just didn't matter in that all four were within 6-8 championships of each other.
BTW Carolina leads the ACC with National Championships (43).

There's a joke about athletes going to class and/or taking classes somewhere in here.
