Gregg Allman Scholarships at Syracuse
In reading about Gregg Allman's preparations for his death I observed that contributions in his name were suggested for scholarships at Georgia and Syracuse. I found this interesting and wondered about the Syracuse connection. The article I read said that since he set up these two programs a few years ago he had followed the progress of those receiving the scholarships with great interest and pride in their accomplishments. He was one of my earliest musical influences and I'm glad in the last few years, knowing he was in the last stage of his life he was able to take some pride and joy from his legacy.

Are any of you Syracuse guys familiar with a connection he had there. Anyone familiar with the ?Bandier? program there?
