MW Digital Network: Spring 2017 Viewership
MW Digital Network views for Spring Sports 2017.
With the spring sports wrapped up, here is the results from my on going tally of the events for each sport.

Outdoor Track and Field Championship:
9,318 views. +4,165 views than last year. 81% increase

Women's Tennis Championship:
Total Views: 2,492
-1,808 views from last year: However, only 3 games were broadcasted vs 8 last year

Men's Tennis Championship:
Total views: 3,764.
-60 views from last year.

Women's Softball: 99 games
Total Views: 64,822
Avg/game: 655

While the totals is less than last year (70,223 views) due having 138 games broadcasted last year, the average/game has increased by 29% (509/game last year vs 655/game this year). Extrapolating the average per game for the 39 games less this year, we can estimate about 90,367 views if the same number games were broadcasted.

Men's Baseball: 136 games
Total Views: 210,808
Avg/game: 1,545

An increase of 8% from last years 195,565 total views (141 games) and a average of 1,387/game.

Overall, it looks like it was the best year yet for the MWDN for the spring sports with an overall increase of 4% from last year despite broadcasting fewer games and the new baseball playoff format that is held to the top 4 teams which cuts out 5 games for the conference playoffs.
