That call took all the momentum away from Nashville...Hockey is a weird sport, Preds out played Pittsburgh for all except a 10 min. stretch and lose 5-3...Sets up an almost most win game Wednesday night...I am not used to watching hockey end of May through June, but my wife's uncle is from Buffalo and is a longtime hockey expert, he basically said NHL protects Pittsburgh and Sissy Sid Crosby, so its basically us against the NHL in this series haha....

I'm thinking this guy made the call from the booth....

I have no clue how they determined his skate wasn't on the ice before it cleared the blue line....

Preds season ticket holder here....trash call on the overturned goal. No way that was conclusive. Rinne was garbage last night, but we dominated the 2nd and 3rd periods and I think that gives us some confidence going into game 2. Just gotta win 1 on the road...

To the comments about the Preds fans popping up the last few weeks....ALL ABOARD THE SMASHWAGON!

We are in the Central Division of the Western Conference. We, along with Chicago, are indeed the eastern-most cities in the Western Conference. Detroit and Columbus are probably the western-most cities in the Eastern Conference. Nashville is on fire for this SC Final. Cheapest nosebleed ticket for games 3 and 4 here are selling for around $900 each before fees. On a side note, the Predators sold out ever single regular season home game this year if anyone is doubting this not being a hockey market.

Anyone saying Nashville is not a hockey town have clearly not been to a game....50 times louder then fans at TItans games...Predator games are really fun games to go to! Its been a few years since I have been to one, definitely need to go back...

Preds fans trying to break the noise level for an indoor sporting event

http://fox17.com/news/local/preds-look-t...yoff-games

Also, an estimated 25,000 fans without tickets partied outside the arena and watched on the big-screen vs. the Ducks.

Gotta win this next one.

Amazing, I can remember when I was in Nashville in '07 they were trying to save the team.

Yeah, lived im the Boro from '03-'10. The difference even before and after the team nearly left was night and day, can't imagine what it's like now.

I'm a Caps fan and this years playoff loss to the Pens made me numb, so numb that I couldn't watch anymore hockey. Just seeing an image of that stupid flightless bird with a hockey stick starts to boil my blood. I won't be watching but I am pulling for the Predators all the way in this series

My wife and I catch a game or two every few years. Saw one earlier this season. It's a lot of fun, even in the nosebleeds, but this time we splurged for good seats. Hockey is far from my favorite sport, but it's a lot of fun live and Nashville does it right.

I wonder what changed between '07 and now, since this is the first time they've really made waves, but they were already selling out? Southern Miss could use some of that :)

MT could learn a LOT from the Preds re: fan in-game experience

Nashville Predators have been doing things to get a fan base grown outside of the explosion this season.

Two years ago, I parked in Centennial Park on West End in a valid parking space. When I got back to my car, I had a ticket envelope on my windshield and I was like "dang". But then, I looked at the envelope and opened it and it was from Officer Gnash with a voucher for 4 free tickets. It looked like a parking ticket but with a Preds logo. My violation: Not enough Predator Gold and Navy Blue.

I enjoyed my free tickets that week...thanks to "Officer Gnash"

Me and a good friend attended a couple of Predator games last season. One game was with tickets won at a MT basketball game as a result of a ugly Christmas sweater contest.

Just like Predator, their fans are good at camouflaging themselves until prey is trapped in their domain...

Huge hockey fan here and definitely a Preds fan for several years. My son plays youth travel hockey throughout Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio so obviously we're a hockey family.

No discussion of #catfishgate on here? The good news is that the charges will be dropped.

Even the TBI was trolling the city of Pittsburg about this

A Florida Panthers fan here. A record of Panther futility goes back more than 20 years. There is always the next year...
