Yeah, he went in to great detail about how ECU has sucked it up in every sport since joining the AAC. He even mentioned softball. He went into great great detail on all of ECU's suck across the board. He also had to throw in the pro Ruffin stuff about how he's killing it at Virgina, and Virginia's QB would be the star at ECU if Ruffin wasn't axed by ECU.

I will say I thought Ruffin firing was a mistake. Never understood the Lebo extension and support. However, to me the article speaks more of a poor AD than an ECU being a failure in the AAC. I am amazed ECU has kept this AD. ECU has a strong history of excellent ADs. This one appears not belong with the others. Reminds me of the Todd Turner years at NCSU. Probably our worst AD ever.

Yeah, 2016-17 has been the worst overall year in ECU athletics in a long damn time. Everything sucked. If Compher and co don't rebound for next season he has sealed his own fate as AD by tanking the entire athletic program.

How is the football team looking this year?

Glad you guys are back on the schedule. I've always been fond of ECU and think our programs have always had a lot in common.

It absolutely baffles me that Lebo is still there but Ruffin is not.

I agree with most things you said except, Idk about Ruffin though....he struggled his first couple years and then ECU totally fell apart in 14 after being on track for the access Bowl. Then 2015 was an unexpected disaster. I just wish Lebo was canned with him. Maybe Mo will be a gigantic mistake too. Hard to say...yet.

I'd have an easier time with the Ruffin firing if Lebo was held to the same standard.

Should we be better, yes..... will it show in the record.... IDK.... better make a bowl or there will be some interesting things in the works IMO and not necessarily involving Coach Mo' ...

I thought the goal was to improve ECU atheletics with a new AD not keep it in a death spiral.

It is all true.

We lost a true leader when Terry Holland was replaced. ECU's athletic department has been weaker since that time.

I don't know. Things could be better and I went on record saying ECU would go 6-6 before all the pre season "experts" picks came out. I've seen some predictions of 1 to 4 wins. It's a very brutal schedule. Even the non-P5 home games are tough. BYU of course and then an FCS champ that some think will win. There isn't much room for error but @Uconn and home games, Cincinnati, James Madison, BYU, Temple and Tulane are the 6. It could be a very difficult task.

I think I know the reason that Lebo is still @ ECU-he's a former Tarheel, and apparently, UNC wants to make sure that its alumni are well taken care of.
