Some stories say 3 Lawson brothers jumped Joe, some say 4. The oldest, unknown brother was also in the action. I wonder if Self is wondering if he can somehow loose KJ while keeping daddy happy.

If this turns out to be true and involving a gun over a bball game, it will seem the coach with experience (tubby) did the right thing by not catering to the lawsons which resulted in them leaving. I'm sure you all know i have not been a fan of the lawson dad from day 1, but now i don't like any of them.

The entire lawson clan sounds like a bunch of ***** ass losers, fake, no class, no loyalty and they ARE NOT about memphis. They are about themselves.

We all know KJ couldn't hold Joe. I'm sure he did foul him. Either way, it's pick up ball. These dudes need to chill.

If I was Coach Self....I would be wondering a lot about what I got myself into and, if I had not already done so....make a quick and secret/confidential call to Tubby. Something is not right here. Time to do a lot of research before it ruins his teams chemistry.

Who knows what truly happened with this. Doesn't really matter. It's just more stench where the Lawsons are involved. Good riddance.

Well it has a lot to do with being a "stand up guy". When I was called by someone about a previous employee that was a problem, I had to be careful what I said. Sometimes, well thought out comments can tell a person calling for a reference a lot. Remember, Tubby is no fan of the Lawson's and just maybe, it is payback time but....done in a well thought out and diplomatic manner. I used to tell people calling me for a reference "Normally when someone calls me for a reference, if I feel the person is a great hire I would say..."Don't let them walk out the door without making them an offer....it will be the best decision you have made in a long time." Unfortunately, I cannot say that about the person you are calling about." Or..."I cannot comment on that person but....Fred Jones at (other company name) would probably be able to give you an earful." I had to do this because company policy did not allow me to comment negatively on a former employee. But, I knew from previous conversations with Fred about that former employee that he was not bound by my restrictions. It has to do with not wishing a bad person on another individual and with my reputation as being a truthful person.

Ok, I read all that. Still questioning why Tubby or we should care about the team chemistry on the '18-'19 Kansas men's hoops team.

Anybody who doesn't think that Tubby is thrilled that this family is someone's else's problem now hasn't been paying attention to how Tubby does things.

Now that none of them are here and none will be here, I really don't care.
At the same time, how many practices a week does someone have to break up potential fights? 2 out of 5 maybe?
