ASN (Stadium) tells writer they are still interested in C-USA
Doug Smock‏ @dougsmock · 2h2 hours ago

Now Stadium Sports (ASN successor) gives me a call telling me they're still interested in C-USA. Came a little late in the game, but ...

So it looks like Smock's original article was totally wrong. Both ASN and BEIN have contacted him and said the opposite of what he reported.

Who doesn't like free(or close) content.Of course there is interest. The question is will they pay us something reasonable?
One thing for sure --we should not move game times UNLESS we are PAID.

Wonder if Judy told them the free milk has dried up?

As a Marshall fan Ive learned one thing over the years, always verify what Chuck Landon or Doug Smock have said. More than likely part of their statement, if not all of their statement will be misleading or just false. Its one reason I didn't comment in the thread that said ASN, now STADIUM wasn't interested.

Good to hear. With the purchase of the Tribune stations, it fills in a lot of gaps in the MW footprint. I hope we sign off with them in the next TV contract.

Did you miss his original article that said "sources" told him that both BEIN and ASN wanted to cut ties with C-USA? He now says that both have contacted him to say they are still interested. Sure we as a conference want to be paid but we also don't want to lose what little exposure we already have.
