So the question is should Liberty call Gilbert and say "we got an opening on the schedule and we want you to come here for $1 million.....do we take it?? Not saying it will or has even been mentioned. Just throwing it out there

They are paying them a ton of cash because they are across the state in Virginia. BYU and North Texas are getting far less than 1.3 to play them in Lynchburg. And yes, take the cash if Liberty is offering.....I thought we had the CUSA record for a road game with the 2.1 million sell back to Nebraska? Article says WKU holds previous record with road game at Bama.

Half of SUNWACUSA would be thrilled to play at Liberty.

Reporter apparently didn't bother to do any fact-checking on "record amounts". The Big Red Shucking Machine" paid us 2.1 million for that game, Bama paid us 1.4 million for 2014 and we signed a 2 game deal with Auburn for 1.7 million in 2018 and 1.85 for 2020.
