Thanks. Great to see Rice turn their season around. 14 wins out of last 20 games. Your Owls are not a team I want to face in the CUSA Tourney. They, along with ODU and Tech are dangerous right now.

Great job of getting this team to meet its potential by coach Berry and his staff. A friend of mine played for him at Meridian CC and He told me when he came on board with Palmer that he was going to be our next coach. Boy are we lucky to have him. This team is dialed in at the right time of the season. If we host, I like our chances of getting to Omaha but if we go to Starkville, Its going to be tough. Top to bottom this year CUSA is very good. Rice is going to be loaded next year along with us.

The thing that's exciting to me is that we only have 3 seniors on our roster and of those Burdeaux was the only one who played on a regular basis. Hadley mainly played when Braley pitched or when Braley was pulled on weekends to give him rest due to pitching the day before/after (even though he came up big on Sunday) and Stevens only pitched 4 innings all year. We'll probably lose Braley and/or McCarty so next year still offers plenty of promise with the quality of the incoming recruits....the pitcher from OG (Boyd) as well as the player from Jones (Strickland?) come to mind right away.
