Can we please, please please move the tournament somewhere else? Someplace where we can win, like Lafayette and Mobile. 03-hissyfit

We appreciate eliminating your at large chances. It is our only real pride and joy, ruining someone else's season.

Lol last year y'all win the series in Mobile (2-1) during a Jag slump and y'all think it's a given to win there. Cute. One time isn't a trend or pattern.

Considering USA is 5-1 in Statesboro since you joined the SBC I like the tournament where it's at.

Sorry, what I should have said is, "some place with a good opposing crowd".

RE: Weekend Baseball--Happy Mother's Day
GS baseball in a nutshell: We have won the series over 3 of the 4 top opponents. We are the only team that hasn't lost multiple series.

And we're the only team in the top half of the conference that's taken a loss to every conference opponent we've played. 03-hissyfit

Coastal finishes the road sweep of UTA today with a 5-0 win.

We are now one half of a game out of first in the league (thanks to that tie with ULL 04-chairshot )

The championship will come down to the last weekend between us and USA.

Chants have App at home and Jags have Troy in Mobile.

Let's go Chants and Trojans!!!

Keep an eye on the South-Troy matchup, last time we ended the season in Mobile we finished it with an on field brawl.

We just swept App, so they are due for some wins next weekend.

Louisiana takes the series, 4-3. Would've loved a sweep, but anytime you beat two in-state teams and take a weekend series is a very good week indeed.
Now on to sweep ULM.

We need Georgia Southern to sweep Georgia State, otherwise we'll have to scratch out a win at Coastal.

UTA gets decent pitching all three games, yet can't figure out how to score. Disappointing to say the least. A team as talented as we are finishes 11-15 at home this year. Wow...

I'd like to apologize to my Cajun brethren. Attended my first Cajun baseball home game in MANY years on Saturday; so I must be the bad luck "charm". LOL But enjoyed the game and met several nice Bobcat fans. Very pleased with how the stadium is coming along. Great atmosphere and a terrific night for baseball!

Just curious, for thise out of towners who attended the game what y'all thought of the new stadium and atmosphere, etc. I was at all 3 this weekend and thought the crowds were only average, if not below what they had been earlier in the season.

I wasn't there . . . But considering the way we're "tanking" our season, I can understand if "Bobcat fan" was hesitant to travel to watch what was a foregone conclusion . . . (speaking only for myself).
