I thought it was funny.

I previously made the mistake of reading some New Yorker articles online. A bunch of pretentious fluff where the writers must be paid by the word. They never really get to their point and repeat everything they say multiple times. I mean nobody could write that badly, could they?

That would have to have at minimum a whiff of reality to border on humor.
