I love college basketball and will no matter what, but the NBA's product on the court is exponentially better.

If ONLY college basketball would be affected by the styles of play currently exhibited in the NBA. If ONLY.

First you seek permanent refuge in Mississippi and now you publicly admit to patronizing the home court of one of our oldest rivals. I am saddened by this, old friend.
Did you mention this to Tom Bowen when you struck up that conversation with him? Coach Norvell maybe?

I was attending the Tigers game. The KFC chiggen in there sucks.

good fan

3 second rule was because of Wilt. Letting them walk now and not calling fouls on superstars is because of Jordan. Watered down league.

The YouTube video of Lebron taking a four-step stroll to a dunk was awful.

RE: The new restrictions on bags at the LB
I don't call college players a "product." If I wanted a product to root for, it would be one that would win 70 percent of the time, and I would have long ago become an Alabama or Ohio State fan or some kind of other intolerable fan.

I still choose the colleges I actually attended to root for, win, lose or draw, and I follow one or two players every year until they graduate. It's a personal connection and loyalty to a school and players that interests me. I don't need to be "affiliated" with a school that wins constantly in order to boost my ego, because I don't need that affirmation, and really, I have nothing to do with how the game plays out on the court or field. I think I would also find winning all the time boring. I enjoy the struggle and reaching.

And yeah, yeah, yeah, I know college ball is quite crooked and players get paid in many ways, but to watch a pro player get paid millions to play a game....boring.

Differing styles, fun to watch comparison:

College football is to the NFL as NBA is to college basketball

Sports just aren't what they used to be. College and pro have both suffered in my opinion. Or maybe I'm becoming an old man.

If you think the NBA has suffered you are just old . The NBA is better than ever with more stars and rules that favor guys that can shoot over guys that can run over people

The new restrictions on bags at the LB
I'm surprised that no one is celebrating having to "leave the old bag at home".

LOL. Even I know better than to make that statement and you are older and wiser than me.

The first game will be a nightmare to get in when half the crowd is unaware of these new restrictions.

All the ladies, like myself, who have invested in cute Tiger purses and bags will not be happy.

Guys who like their cushion seats will not be happy.

Checking bags in the current condition never takes a very long time. If you want to avoid any line, go in thirty minutes before game time.

I am not sure whether this new policy is due to real security concerns, or the fact that alcohol sales aren't as good as the LB wishes. Of all the improvements the LB could make, THIS is not the thing to do.

Hold up. The cushioned stadium seats are getting banned?

Since you didn't renew your basketball seats, the Athletic Dept. is taking indirect initiatives to steer you to the Football chairbacks seats.

I think you can still rent the stadium's screw-in seats for the season, so I don't see the reason for banning personal ones other than the fact that one of them could be made out of C-4 in some whacko version of reality.

Sounds more like shake down, like he's sayin'...

Whoa. I did not call it a "shake down". I prefer to believe it's a well conceived tactical marketing initiative by our Athletic Dept. to promote the sale of chairback seat tickets with higher TSF donations attached.

God Bless America and Go Tigers Go!
