I didn't budget my work schedule to go to Orlando so I'm adjusting this year, but I'd really like to go to Tucson.

This says Sun Belt is in Bahamas Bowl and not in the Arizona Bowl. Have they got their years mixed up?

Only if we have 6+ wins and there aren't enough 6+ win teams to fill the bowls.

Despite our efforts to step up the mental aspect of being in a larger spotlight, I believe there are still many Appfans who have no idea how large the Superdome is and think "well, we filled Chattanooga and Montgomery's stadium, we will fill New Orleans' too."

The only bowl game in New Orleans I care about playing in is the Sugar...

Unfortunately if either Alabama team or Ark State AND Louisiana are bowl eligible, then Mobile is not in our future. We went in 2015 because ULL was out, so Ark went to NOLA instead and both Alabama schools were down.

I fully expect this to be App or Troy's year. I can see one of y'all making a WMU-like run, and if a MAC school who beats low-level B10 teams can do it, why can't one of us?

Also, if UL is bowl eligible, they'll go to NOLA even if they're 6-6. I'd switch App and UL.

And, don't our bowl tie-ins have to take the next available bowl eligibile team before they start using 5-7 teams? I'd love for TXST to finally make a bowl but I'm pretty sure they can only use 5-7 teams if all the 6-6 teams have been exhausted, so Idaho would go to Arizona or Frisco. Is that right?

ULL seems to have a lot of questions going into this season personally I believe ULM will be greatly improved and in the mix for a bowl this season. If ULM makes 6 wins and ULL does not wouldn't ULM be the top choice for New Orleans?

Agreed. ULM will be drastically better this year. A fairly tough schedule, but I think we have a good shot at at least 6-6. We only have 8 seniors, so I look for us to challenge for conference in 2018. I do think we go to New Orleans if we are bowl eligible and ULL isn't.

From what I remember, Mobile was very happy with our turnout so I could see it happening again. I'm not sure that Louisiana is a shoo in to get eligible this year with the issues they've been experiencing.

Cure Bowl would be cool as something different, but it does get a bit lost in Orlando and the fact that it's not carried by ESPN. I think they lost viewers over the course of their broadcast last year as well because the game stretched way too long.
