It'll be weird seeing these lists without EMU and Miami towards the basement for the first time in a while.

Yeah, and EMU made a bowl game in 2016, so it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect that they will be in the top 80, probably 70 -79.

I'll set the over/under line for EMU to be ranked #78.

Iowa State is now rated better than 3 MAC schools. Matt Campbell has done a heck of a job there.

The culture has changed there. ISU will be good next season and probably a 6 win team this year. Book it.

Temple just had back 2 back double digit win seasons...I'm pleased but surprised to see them ranked as a bottom dweller. I love seeing Cincinnati as a bottom dweller, as well as Matty Cash Campbell's Iowa State.

Interesting, but I don't see a bad MAC West team this season.

I don't know who returns for NIU, but they've been trending down for a few years now under Carey, his may be the year where the bubble really bursts (if it wasn't last season). And Ball State probably won't be top notch either.

It sure would be great if we could add the 121st best team to the MAC.

Oh, c'mon, every school has a down year.

I'm sure they could climb to 100 in a better year. Maybe even 90.

NIU might not be good but I don't think we'll be bad. We have a few returning starters on O-line including an all-MAC guy plus a RB who is better than the guy he was replacing. If Jordan Huff stays on the field he will likely be All-MAC at RB. QB is a question mark obviously, and WR is a question mark also, but we always find someone to step up. The secondary will be very experienced and good, if we can find a DE or two to provide pressure the D will be fairly good. Last year we beat EMU and Kent State with one of our backup QBs. I just have to hope that Ryan Graham isn't the best guy we got, or that Carey plays him despite not being the best guy we got.

Don't expect it to be accurate. If our starting QB can throw a forward pass, we probably win at least 6 games.

Well from the list that is showing (I am not going to do an actual count so I am just going to assume, shame on me, that the list is the number quoted)the AAC has UConn, CIncy, Temple, and Tulane.
